

A record number of museums in the region once again recognised the massive contribution of their volunteers at the annual Volunteer Awards Ceremony. This year it took place at the Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket. The categories and winners were;
Working Together Award

Volunteer Manager Award
Winner – Hazel Courtley, The National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art
Highly Commended – Cathryn Wells, Museum of East Anglian Life & Megan Dennis, Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse
Learning Volunteer Award
Winner – Jo Gillam, Chelmsford Museum
Highly Commended – Chris Monk, The Centre for Computing History
Trustee Board Award
Winner – The Home of Horseracing Board of Trustees, The National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art
Highly Commended – The Long Shop Museum Trustee Board, The Long Shop Museum
Front of House Award
Winner – Maria Child, Museum of East Anglian Life

Outstanding Young Volunteer Award
