Grants available from SHARE Museums East 2017-18

Priority for grants will be given to museums in the East of England which are Accredited or officially Working Towards Accreditation. Information about open grants schemes including grants guidance, eligibility and application forms are available to download using the links found to the right.

Making the Most of Loans

Grants to support significant loans to museums in the region. Funding can be used for a variety of activities, for example:

• Transport and packing costs for loans
• Photography of loans for use in events and publicity
• Events/activities inspired by or in association with a loan e.g. a trail, leaflet or handling kit
• Publicity materials for loans, or exhibitions that feature the loan e.g. poster, graphic panel
• Conservation and condition report costs for loans

Deadline: 5pm Friday 20 October 2017

Amount: up to £1500

Museum Futures

Training and grants to support developing your museum’s vision and forward plan. We strongly recommend that you attend one of the two training sessions led by Sam Hunt:

Tuesday 10 October 2017, Norwich Castle

Wednesday 11 October 2017, Stevenage Museum

Deadline: This grant scheme will open shortly and the deadline for applications will be Tuesday 14 November 2017

Amount: up to £1200/£1600 (depending on circumstances)
