The Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum (VCF) is for anyone whose role involves co-ordinating a volunteer programme and managing volunteers at a museum or heritage site in the East of England. The VCF will meet quarterly and events will include a mix of national and local speakers, peer support and networking opportunities.
Find out more about the VCF and other SHARE networks here.
The Launch Event is your opportunity to shape the forum and suggest key topics for future meetings so that the forum meets your needs.
The programme for the day will include a keynote presentation from Rob Jackson who will get us thinking about the opportunities and challenges of volunteer management in the 21 century.
Rob has worked for Volunteering England and has managed volunteering programmes for Barnardo’s and the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB). He has written, spoken and trained on volunteer programme management internationally for over twenty years. Click here to visit his blog.
Rob’s presentation will be followed by discussion activities aimed at getting the forum off the ground and planning for the future.
