The Front of House Forum was officially launched at the Fitzwilliam Museum in April 2013, and has gone from strength to strength. Following on from six very successful events around the region in 2013-14, the network is heading to Cambridge Botanic Gardens for their first meeting of 2015.
As always, the event will combine speakers with networking and discussion on a variety of topics. This time the focus will be on the relationship between curators and front of house teams, with speakers including:
- Tony Butler, Executive Director, Derby Museums Trust
- Elie Hughes, Curator, Ely Museum
- Mark Elliott, Senior Curator, Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology
- Hannah Kershaw, Digital Associate, University of Cambridge Museums
A full programme is available to download below:
As always, delegates are encouraged to bring their own issues or “hot topics” to the meeting to be discussed by the group at the end of the day.
Lunch and all refreshments will be provided.
