About SHARED Enterprise
SHARED Enterprise is one of nine Heritage Lottery Fund Catalyst Umbrella projects operating in the UK, and aiming to develop fundraising skills in the heritage sector. It works alongside SHARE Museums East, the Arts Council England funded regional museum development programme for the East of England.
Since the project began in 2014, it has reached more than 400 people from over 70 different organisations in the East of England. The project offers a blend of cohort-based training, consultancy, small grants and a programme of day workshops and seminars. Topics covered include fundraising strategy, writing successful bids to grant making bodies, individual giving, legacies, crowdfunding, friends groups, good governance, commercial operations and business partnerships.
