The Regional Museum Development Manager is responsible for managing the Museum Development programme for the East of England Region, facilitating the Museums East of England group and liaising and working with Museum development colleagues and county groups across the region.

Ruth is responsible for providing professional advice and guidance on Accreditation. She oversees the SHARE Museums East programmes relating to collections care, management and access, and works with several of the regional networks including the Digital Development Forum, Reminiscence Network East and Costume & Textile Network.

Kathy is responsible for the Children and Young People and Audience Development strands of SHARE Museums East’s work, including all things Learning. She convenes the Regional Learning Network, organises the learning, audience and community training for the calendar and runs various cohorts including Takeover Day and Co-Production, as well as running related small grant programmes.

Sally is responsible for aspects of the programme relating to Resilience and Leadership. She also helps to coordinate the SHARE Volunteer Awards scheme and works with several regional networks, including the Retail Forum and the Volunteer Co-ordinators’ Forum.

Miranda is in the role of Collections Officer whilst Ruth Burwood is on maternity leave. Her responsibilities include providing professional advice and guidance on Accreditation. She oversees the SHARE Museums East programmes relating to collections care, management and access.
Miranda previously was the Project Officer for the HLF Catalyst Umbrella fund project SHARED Enterprise. The project has npw been completed and its aims were to improve capacity-building services for museums in the region, and includes training opportunities, cohort groups and resources.
