This session follows on from Integrated Pest Management 1. There will be further exploration of the range of adult pests and larvae, focusing mainly on identification using binocular microscopes.
Participants will:
- be able to identify the main groups and species of pest insects found in museums, historic houses and archives
- identify the main beetle and moth pests and their larvae
- recognise other pests such as silverfish and booklice
- have more confidence in recording and analysing data as part of an IPM programme
There will be an opportunity to bring traps along to have pests identified.
Participants should have completed the introductory course Integrated Pest Management: Level 1 before attending this session.
Morning coffee is provided but please bring a packed lunch.
