This session follows on from Integrated Pest Management 1. There will be further exploration of the range of adult pests and larvae, focusing mainly on identification using binocular microscopes.

  • be able to identify the main groups and species of pest insects found in museums, historic houses and archives
  • identify the main beetle and moth pests and their larvae
  • recognise other pests such as silverfish and booklice
